Our terrace on Nicolson Square is covered by large heavy-duty umbrellas, with heaters for the colder months, so you can sit out whatever the Edinburgh weather does. Chairs and comfortable armchairs under the umbrellas. There is no booking for the terrace: tables go first come, first served.

Questions

Do I need to book the shisha terrace?

No. The terrace works on a first come, first served basis, so just come along.

What time is the last shisha?

Last shisha serving is at 9.15pm. Our licence means we have to clear the terrace by 10pm.

How old do I need to be?

Shisha is for over 18s only. One shisha serves a maximum of two seats, and a minimum order applies.

Is the terrace covered and heated?

Yes. Big heavy-duty umbrellas keep the rain off and heaters are on when it is cold. The terrace has no side walls.

What is the seating like?

Chairs and comfortable armchairs. The armchairs go first, so come early if you want one.

Can I eat on the terrace?

Our shisha menu has coffee and tea, smoothies and sweet treats. Outside busy days you can also have your lunch or dinner on the terrace.

How do I book a table?
